DankGeek Protection is optional shipping insurance that safeguards your order against loss, theft, or damage during transit. When you add Dank Protection at checkout, you gain peace of mind knowing your gear is covered.


What Does DankGeek Protection Cover?


With DankGeek Protection, your order is protected against:


Damage — If your item arrives broken or unusable.

Loss — If your package gets stuck in transit with no updates, or is delivered to the wrong address.

Theft — If your order is marked as delivered but never received.


How Do I Add DankGeek Protection to My Order?


During checkout on DankGeek, you'll see DankGeek Protection automatically added to your cart. You can remove it if you prefer, but we strongly recommend keeping it — especially for high-value glass or electronics.


How Much Does It Cost?


Dank Protection fees are calculated based on your order total, typically just a few dollars for most purchases. It's a small investment for significant peace of mind.


How to File a Claim


If something goes wrong, filing a claim with DankGeek Protection is straightforward:


  1. Reach out to DankGeek Customer Service (via live chat, email, or your account's support ticket system).
  2. Provide your email and order number.
  3. Select/describe the item(s) you're filing the claim for.
  4. Let us know the corresponding issue type (lost, stolen, or damaged).
  5. Provide issue details, including photos if requested.
  6. Let us know your resolution preference (refund or replacement).

Our team will assess your claim and typically respond within 24–48 hours.


Claim Filing Timeframes


To ensure your claim is eligible, adhere to the following timelines:


-Lost Packages: File between 7 and 30 days from the last tracking update for domestic shipments. For international shipments, file between 20 and 30 days from the last tracking update.

-Stolen Packages: If your package is marked as delivered but not received, file a within 5 days from the delivery date.

-Damaged Items: File within 5 days from the delivery date. Note: Claims filed outside these windows may be denied.


What Isn't Covered?


DankGeek Protection does not cover:


  • Incorrect Address: If you entered the wrong address at checkout.
  • Unfulfilled Orders: Orders that haven't been shipped yet.
  • Pre-Shipment Status: Orders marked as "pre-shipment" or "label created."
  • Customs Issues: Orders stuck in customs due to unpaid fees or documentation issues.
  • Return to Sender: Packages returned due to delivery barriers or refusal.
  • Manufacturing Defects: Issues that occurred prior to shipping.
