During checkout on DankGeek, you'll see Route Package Protection automatically added to your cart. You can remove it if you prefer, but we strongly recommend keeping it โ€” especially for high-value glass or electronics.

Route fees are calculated based on your order total, typically just a few dollars for most purchases. It's a small investment for significant peace of mind.


๐Ÿงพ How to File a Claim

If something goes wrong, filing a claim with Route is straightforward:

  1. Go to the Route Claims Portal.
  2. Enter your email and order number.
  3. Select the item(s) you're filing the claim for.
  4. Choose the corresponding issue type (lost, stolen, or damaged).
  5. Provide issue details, including photos if prompted.
  6. Select your resolution preference (refund or replacement).
  7. Submit your claim.

Route will assess your claim and typically respond within 24โ€“48 hours.


๐Ÿ•’ Claim Filing Timeframes

To ensure your claim is eligible, adhere to the following timelines:

  • Lost Packages: File between 7 and 30 days from the last tracking update for domestic shipments. For international shipments, file between 20 and 30 days from the last tracking update.
  • Stolen Packages: If your package is marked as delivered but not received, file a claim between 5 and 30 days from the delivery date.
  • Damaged Items: File within 30 days from the delivery date.

Note: Claims filed outside these windows may be denied.

Route does not cover:

  • Incorrect Address: If you entered the wrong address at checkout.
  • Unfulfilled Orders: Orders that haven't been shipped yet.
  • Pre-Shipment Status: Orders marked as "pre-shipment" or "label created."
  • Customs Issues: Orders stuck in customs due to unpaid fees or documentation issues.
  • Contraband: Items seized by law enforcement.
  • Return to Sender: Packages returned due to delivery barriers or refusal.
